Through Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm (which introduced flying to Azeroth proper), and Mists of Pandaria, all you needed to do to unlock flying was to reach an appropriate level and grease the right NPC palms with a substantial amount of gold. There is nothing quite like viewing a zone from the air, soaring over the frankly amazing art of this world that is a second home to so many of us. Players delighted in flying, not only because it made travel easier, allowed you to fly over enemies to skip them, made farming herbs and ore a snap, and let you AFK in safety, but also because the World of Warcraft is beautiful. The Burning Crusade expansion took us to the disintegrating world of Outland where part of the design philosophy included the concept that you would need to be able to fly in order to navigate around this would as it broke apart, and lo, a can of worms was opened. You are forced to fight through mobs, interact with the environment, find creative ways to get from here to there, fall, die, and generally be annoyed by the complete lack of flying. When you trot about on your own two feet or ride around on a ground mount you have to interact with the game in ways that flying negates. Each new expansion is designed to be explored at ground level. Unlocking flying can be a bit of a pain and many wonder why they have to go through the process. Let's talk about the things you need to do to unlock flying in those areas where all your friends are happily riding the currents. There are 3 new Reputation factions in Tanaan Jungle when 6.2 comes out.So you've just come back to World of Warcraft after a break, you log in, you put all those odd abilities that you barely even recognize on your bars, and jump on into Battle for Azeroth, ready to battle, For Azeroth! Raising the three new Tanaan Jungle reputations to Revered You may get this quest as Bonus Objective when you head to the areas in which you do them If you don’t want to wait for that certain quest to show up or can´t wait for a new quest to everyday, you can also buy all the Scouting Missive quests for 200 Garrison Resources each. These are objectives of the daily quests for Apexis Crystals in your Garrison. To complete this Achievement you need to complete all the Assault quests. This will probably be fixed when 6.2 comes live. Don't Let the Tala-door Hit You on the Way OutĪt the moment you can’t see that you got the Achievement in game but you can see it in Armory. As I Walk Through The Valley of the Shadow of Moon You know when you completed a story line when getting the Achievement for that story line. To complete this Achievement you need to complete the storyline quests in each content in Draenor. When completing the achievement needed, you will earn the following You need to earn “Draenor Pathfinder” on at least 1 character. Flying in Draenor will come in a follow up of patch 6.2īlizzard will allow flying on Draenor, but you have to earn it (which I think is really good). ![]()
